Boom, Santa Claus is coming to town this week with an extra bounty in this week’s bag including Fennel and Vine-Ripened Tomatoes just for starters! We are also getting Kale in this week’s bag from the Go Farm program. Go Farm is a farm incubator program working out of Waimanalo teaching students how to farm! We’re excited to be working with these guys and can’t wait to see what items that produce in the future! Here’s what else we have this week!

New to fennel, well you’re in for a treat!! You’ll notice it has a slight black jelly bean flavor to it adding an interesting kick to your salads. You can treat it like celery and throw chunks in or you can even braise, sautée, roaste, or even grill the bulb to soften it up! For more info on fennel click here! Choy Sum with minced Garlic – this cooking green is super easy to prepare, throw in some garlic and some love and you’re good to go!
